The paper used in our notebooks and journals is milled in Cumbria by James Cropper. We chose it for its excellent qualities especially for fountain pens. With its slightly calendared surface a pen glides effortlessly over its surface with very little bleeding. It is reasonably opaque with minimal show through from one side to the other.
