Here at The Stamford Notebook Company we are often asked to produce custom made notebooks for companies, retailers, visitor attractions and individuals.
Custom Made Notebooks, Journals and Leather Goods
The are many applications for custom made books such as visitor books, record ledgers, day books, log books, diaries or registration books - whatever our customers require!
We frequently make bespoke leather wallets, folders and ring binders amongst other items.
Paper
We try to use the best! Our British made, fountain-pen friendly paper is excellent for most projects but we can advise on other choices which might be better suited to an application. An album for instance needs a much heavier weight. A sketchbook would require sketch paper! All of our paper where possible is milled in the beautiful Cumbrian town of Kendal by James Cropper Plc.
Materials
We have a large selection of covering materials stocked from papers and cloths to leathers. We can easily supply samples to help with decision making.
Quantities
We are more than happy to help with small quantities, such as one-offs. Many projects such as albums or visitor books only require a single book.
Your own fabrics
As we make by hand we often make books in our customers' fabric. We normally like to try a sample to ensure that it works happily. It is helpful if fabric doesn't have too much stretch!
Samples and Mockups
When we discuss bespoke notebooks, journals and leather work we ensure that customers are fully aware of options such as bespoke pages, materials for covering, embossing and even the colour of bookmark ribbons. We supply proofs, mockup visuals and samples if required. These ensure that projects are completed successfully - on time!
