We are not novices when it comes to doing events, our stand at Burghley Horse Trials is one of the highlights of our year, but taking our brand on the road to pastures new, was (we are not going to lie...) quite daunting!

However, we needn't have worried. We were welcomed with open arms to the very well organised Game Fair. We didn't appreciate the enormity of the site until the last day when we had chance for a mooch (it was vast) but the stunning landscape of the Blenheim Estate provided the perfect back drop to this fantastic event, celebrating the best of British countryside pursuits. 

The feedback we received from customers about our stand made us feel immensely proud, and we were truly astonished at just how many people not only us knew us, but were our customers already! They told us that they owned our Visitor Books, or Game Books or Notebooks and Diaries and we constantly heard people walking past commenting that we made such lovely stationery.

Our stand was an eye catching display of everything we make, made even more special by the wonderful Lynda Day who folded pages of some specially made books into these fabulous works of art to highlight our range of Tasting Journals. They were quite the talking point! If you would like one as a gift she has a lovely etsy shop and we can highly recommend her work!

We had a tremendous amount of conversation with customers old and new, and we get such a buzz when people recognise the effort that goes into creating our products. People really understand the care, attention to detail and the uniqueness of what we create. We are also now excitedly working on a number of bespoke enquires and have several new product ideas logged for the future!

A huge thank you goes to Jo who kept us supplied with coffee, bacon sarnies, ice cream and cider over the weekend and helped us with the breakdown, legend!

It was a full on four days and we retreated back to Stamford very tired but extremely happy! Thank you to everyone for your support!
